Walt Disney World’s ® New Fantasyland in Magic Kingdom ® is continuing to bring the magic of fairytales to life with the addition of The Seven Dwarfs Mine Train. The roller coaster isn’t expected to take guests on a whirlwind adventure into the mine until 2014 but the ride has been popping up on message boards and news feeds quite a bit lately due to its unique ride vehicles. Just as the name implies, The Seven Dwarfs Mine Train will take riders through the story of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, with an emphasis on Snow White’s seven little friends and their adventures in the mines. But unlike its name, this new coaster will give riders something they weren’t expecting – a different coaster experience. Using a new ride system that simulates the swaying and tipping you might expect to feel if you were actually riding in a mine cart, The Seven Dwarfs Mine Train will take guests on a musical ride into the mine “where a million diamonds shine” and rock and sway like never before. The adventure will be accompanied by animated figures of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs and music from the Disney ® film. Stay tuned for more details about The Seven Dwarfs Mine Train roller coaster and its new ride system. In the meantime you can enjoy the rest of Fantasyland’s magic including 2 new themed areas – Enchanted Forest and Storybook Circus. Both areas feature meet-and-greets from popular Disney ® characters, rides, attractions and restaurants to fully immerse you into Disney’s ® fairytale world. The Enchanted Forest area of the new Fantasyland lets guests venture into the world of The Little Mermaid and Beauty and the Beast with lush landscapes, flowing waterfalls and royal castles you have to see to believe. The Enchanted Forest’s rides and attractions include Under the Sea- Journey of the Little Mermaid, Be Our Guest Restaurant, Enchanted Tales with Belle, Ariel’s Grotto, and Gaston’s Tavern. Fantasyland guests can also step right up to Storybook Circus and experience the spirit of the Disney ® classic Dumbo.  This section of the park will take visitors to another time, a time where big top tents, incredible stunts, gorgeous animals and unrivaled entertainment lure in audiences. Attractions at Storybook Circus include The Barnstormer, Dumbo The Flying Elephant, Casey Jr. Splash ‘N’ Soak Station, Pete’s Silly Sideshow and Fantasyland Station. In addition to The Seven Dwarfs Mine Train, Fantasyland will be adding Princess Fairytale Hall where Disney ® princesses will wait to meet their subjects. The new meet-and-greet is expected to open sometime this year.
