Theme Park News

You’ve probably heard so much about Volcano Bay since it opened a few weeks ago. The thrill rides, massive volcano, lazy river, Island food and Tapu Tapu wearables have been highlighted all over the news. But what you might not yet know is how to get to the new water park, where to park and what to do if you’re staying on-site. Let’s delve a bit further into all of those:

Unfortunately, Volcano Bay doesn’t have its own parking lot. But that doesn’t mean you’ll spend your morning driving around trying to get lucky with parking. Volcano Bay guests are encouraged to park in the main parking structure at Universal CityWalk. From there you can hop on the shuttle, which will transport you to Volcano Bay.

On-Site Resorts

For those who are staying at a Universal Orlando hotel you will have a bit of an easier time getting to Volcano Bay, especially if you are booked at Cabana Bay. A stay at Cabana Bay makes a visit to Volcano Bay seamless as you enjoy a designated walking path that takes you right to the water park. In addition, if you are staying at any of the other Universal Orlando Resort hotels, you can enjoy complimentary shuttle bus transportation to the park.

Early Park Admission

Another bonus to staying on-site is the Early Park Admission. This allows you to take advantage of Volcano Bay’s many rides and attractions an hour before the park opens to the public. If you are not staying on-site we still recommend getting to the park before it opens so that you can immediately enter and get to the fun.
