Unlike other Halloween events in Orlando and across the nation, SeaWorld Orlando is bringing trick-or-treating fun to the daytime hours during their annual Halloween Spooktacular. Throughout every weekend in October, guests can trick-or-treat, dance with sea creatures, watch silly and spooky shows and create sea-themed arts and crafts all day long!
Guests of all ages are encouraged to dress in their best Halloween attire and enjoy waves of trick-or-treating fun throughout the aquatic theme park. Kids can follow a special Spooktacular map to the more than 15 different candy stations throughout the event, each featuring plenty of the gooey goodness kids can’t resist! As you stroll through the park collecting Tootsie Rolls, Air Heads, Choco Rocks and more make sure you stop for some of the strolling entertainment including sea witches Gummy Worm Wanda, Salt Water Taffy, Swedish Fish Suzy and many more fanciful sea creatures.
And to really ensure the kids get all of the sweet treats they can handle, head over to the Apple & Crispy Rice Treat Decorating station where you can splash into creativity and decorate a caramel apple or chocolate covered rice crispy with candy corn, sprinkles, marshmallows, licorice, gummy brains and much more!
Aside from the sweet treats throughout the park guests can immerse themselves in the wonders of the sea with family-friendly music, crafts and characters at Penelope’s Party Zone. The Zone provides an “underwater” environment in which kids can dance with colorful Halloween and ocean-themed characters to the spooky sound waves broadcasted by a live DJ, play games, and enjoy more candy as hundreds of bubbles float overhead and colorful pumpkinfish glide beside! Located outdoors at SeaWorld’s Bayside area the access party zone and much of its festivities is included in regular SeaWorld Orlando admission.
Other Spooktacular activities include the show that let’s you sing and dance along with your favorite Sesame Street friends, Sesame Street’s Countdown to Halloween Show. Located in SeaPort Theatre, this live musical stage show features Count Van Count, Elmo and more!
You can also become a Spooktacular “sea-star” celebrity by showing off your fabulous costume for a glamorous photo shoot at Penelope’s Photacular. Then head to the Spooktacular pre-show for Shamu Rocks to see if your picture became a part of the virtual costume parade!
