With the upcoming release of Disney’s ® latest film “The Lone Ranger” in theaters on July 3, Orlando Fun Tickets thought we’d share our favorite Johnny Depp shows, rides and attractions at Walt Disney World ®. With all of these Johnny Depp sightings, you’ll be sure to be ready for the movie on July 3.

Magic Kingdom ®

Pirates of the Caribbean – In 2006 with the popularity of the Pirates of the Caribbean films, Disney ®refurbished the ride adding Audio-animatronics of Depp’s character, Captain Jack Sparrow into multiple places in the attraction. Riders can now see Depp’s likeness throughout the ride including in the final scene with a tipsy Audio-animatronic of Sparrow relaxing on what appears to be a throne surrounded by jewels and treasure. Sparrow is humming bits of the theme song as your boat passes by.

Captain Jack Sparrow’s Pirate Tutorial – Here you can join a pirates life with Captain Jack Sparrow outside of the Pirates of the Caribbean attraction where Sparrow holds court, recruiting wannabe pirates in joining his crew. Sparrow is joined by Mack, his steadfast shipmate and together the two teach budding pirates the secrets of being a swashbuckling pirate on the Adventureland Promenade Stage. Performances are at 10:15 a.m, 11:20 a.m., 12:25 p.m., 2:15 p.m., 3:20 p.m. and 4:25 p.m.

The Pirates League – Become Captain Jack Sparrow in this incredible attraction where you’ll sail away with The Pirates League and transform into a scallywag pirate! You’ll first be renamed a pirate’s name when you pick yer Official Pirate Name from the Captain’s log. Then, you’ll head to the Muster station where the veteran pirates will give you a pirate makeover of your choosing. Then it’s time to sharpen your swashbucklin’ skills and train like a buccaneer just like Captain Jack Sparrow. Finally you can show off your new looks and newly acquired skills in the Parade of Pirates in Adventureland.

Grab a Root Beer Slush – Johnny Depp isn’t just Captain Jack Sparrow, but Tonto in the new movie The Lone Ranger. And if you go over to Pecos Bill Tall Tale Inn and Café you can grab a root beer slush. You can even show people back home about this delicious concoction if you buy the souvenir boot cup. Not a bad way to saddle up to the summer.

A Pirate’s Adventure: Treasures of the Seven Seas – If you’ve been a big fan of Sorcerers of the Magic Kingdom already, then you’re going to love this swashbuckling new game. This interactive quest makes you a recruit for Captain Jack Sparrow, arming you with a magic talisman and treasure map. The goal is to prove your worthy of joining his crew by scoring some pirate booty while taking on Jack’s old foes like the Royal Navy and Captain Barbossa.

Hollywood Studios ®

The Legend of Captain Jack Sparrow – Experience the story of Captain Jack Sparrow like you never have before in this new walk-through attraction. Guests are taken inside an indoor theater themed to a coastal cave and recruited by a talking skull to become a part of Captain Jack Sparrow’s crew. If you decide to join the crew you will experience several interactive sequences from the Pirates of the Caribbean film series including a battle between Sparrow and Davy Jones with appearances from the Kraken, The Flying Dutchman and even coaxing mermaids. Along the way you must help Sparrow defeat Jones by sinking his ship. When you finally do, Sparrow congratulates you and invites you to a celebratory singing of “Yo Ho (A Pirates Life for Me).”

AFI Showcase Shop - If you actually want to experience Depp as the Lone Ranger the AFI Showcase Shop located at the exit of the Backlot Tour has a handful of merchandise to take a piece of  the action home with you. A few items include a Texas Ranges replica badge; a youth T-shirt featuring the two lead characters from the new film; action figures of the Lone Ranger, Tonto, and Silver the horse. There are also LEGO playsets featuring multiple scenes and characters from the movie as well as a two-figure Vinylmation set.
