Bringing Babies to Disney's Hollywood Studios

If you’re thinking of going on vacation to the Walt Disney World Resort but are worried about the logistics of bringing a baby along with you, you are certainly not alone! While your toddler might be too young to remember anything about this trip to visit Mickey Mouse, hundreds of thousands of families bring along small children during their vacations to Central Florida. The Walt Disney World Resort caters to families with small children, so you can rest assured knowing that you will still be able to enjoy many of the attractions at Disney’s Hollywood Studios with the newest member of your family!

All of the theme parks at the Walt Disney World Resort have certain measures in place to ensure families with babies and small children have the best amenities possible to suit their needs. In addition to being able to rent strollers at the front of the park for a small fee at Oscar’s Super Service (you can also bring your own), you can also replace your stroller if you should lose it throughout the day by bringing your rental receipt to either Oscar’s or Tatooine Traders, the merchandise store located right beside and at the end of the Star Tours attraction. In addition to stroller rentals, each park also has a Baby Care Center, which at Disney’s Hollywood Studios is located inside the Guest Services Building just inside the main entrance. At this facility, parents can handle changing and feeding obligations in quiet areas, away from the hustle and bustle of all of the guests in the park. There are also products available to you in each Baby Care Center, but it is wise to bring your own diapers, etc., with you, as these products are more expensive than you would regularly pay.

The Walt Disney World Resort has also instituted the Child Swap program at all of the theme parks so that families traveling with small children can still enjoy all of the attractions they have grown to love at the theme parks through the years. If you want to ride an attraction that has a height requirement, simply ask the Cast Member at the front of the line for a Child Swap pass, which allows one parent (and any other child who can ride) to enter the line and enjoy the attraction. Then, upon disembarking, the parents will switch places so that the second adult can enter the FastPass line, meaning the parents do not have to wait in line twice for the same ride!

While your toddler may not need a ticket into any of the Walt Disney World Resort theme parks, parents certainly will! So, before you set off on your exploration into any of the Walt Disney World Resort theme parks, look no further than to help get you set up with all of your ticket needs for your entire vacation.
