Celebrating the Holidays at Disney's Animal Kingdom

No matter what your reason is for visiting the Central Florida area, there is just one thing you will need to be able to take full advantage of your time away from home – theme park tickets! And, one way to obtain all of the tickets you will need for your entire vacation is by purchasing them right here at OrlandoFunTickets.com, the largest ticket store in Orlando and the No. 1 online source for all of the top attractions in Central Florida!

If you are planning on visiting Central Florida during a holiday, you might want to consider using the discounted tickets you purchased at OrlandoFunTickets.com to check out Disney’s Animal Kingdom® Theme Park. While this is a great choice every day of the year, you might first want to consider visiting here during either Thanksgiving or Christmas. Thanksgiving might not be an obvious choice for Disney’s Animal Kingdom® Theme Park because of its shortage on full service restaurant choices (options include the Tusker House Restaurant buffet meal, the Yak and Yeti full service restaurant and the Rainforest Café that sits just outside the park’s gates), but the holiday season in between Thanksgiving and New Year’s is a different story. During this time, the park revs up its holiday spirit and is dripped in holiday décor, headlined by an amazing Christmas tree that stands at least 20-30 feet in the air just outside the park’s turnstiles. This focal point hints at the holiday spirit that lies within the park’s gates, such as appearances by Santa Goofy and the park’s headline special event, Mickey’s Jingle Jungle Parade, a special holiday version of the popular daily parade.

While Thanksgiving and Christmas time might make sense to visit this theme park, there are others that don’t work as well, such as New Year’s Eve and the 4th of July. This is the only theme park that does not have a fireworks display due to the safety of the animals, so this is likely the least crowded of the four Walt Disney World® Resort Theme Parks on these two days. Therefore, it might be a good idea to spend part of your morning here before heading out to one of the busier parks at night to catch the amazing fireworks shows at the other parks.

Holidays aren’t the only reasons why guests visit the Walt Disney World® Resort, however. Spring break and summer vacations can also be just as popular for many reasons – children are out of school, parents often have time off from work and the weather in Central Florida is ideal for a vacation. And just as there ways to take advantage of the parks when the kids are out of school, there are also plenty of ways to celebrate those special events that come along every year, such as birthdays and Anniversaries in Disney’s Animal Kingdom® Theme Park. And of course, don’t count out this park as a possible Valentine’s Day destination either because, as Disney suggests with its current campaign right now, you can celebrate anything this year at the Walt Disney World® Resort!

The next time you are visiting the Walt Disney World® Resort, whether to celebrate New Year’s Day, New Year’s Eve or any of the 363 days in between, make sure that OrlandoFunTickets.com helps you make the most of your time in Central Florida by offering you discounted tickets that you can’t find anywhere else.
