Universal's CityWalk

With Valentine’s Day upon us, you may be struggling to think of the perfect night out with your sweetheart. Universal Orlando might not be the first thing to come to mind but the resort has quite a bit of romance nestled in between its thrills and adventures. Here are 5 of the most romantic things to do at Universal Orlando.

Dinner and a movie
Is there a more classic way to enjoy romance then with dinner and a movie? We don’t think so and thankfully you can do both at Universal Orlando. Universal’s CityWalk is home to AMC Universal Cineplex 20 as well as a whole slew of restaurants to dine at before or after your flick of choice.

Experience the tropics
While Orlando might be smack dab in the middle of the state it doesn’t mean you can’t enjoy a little tropical paradise. Universal’s Royal Pacific Resort will whisk you away and make you feel like you and your sweetie are alone on a tropical island. The resort is home to Emeril’s Tchoup Tchoup restaurant where you can enjoy a romantic dinner. From there feel free to roam the grounds and take in the relaxing atmosphere.

Explore the Italian Riviera
Universal’s other resort, Portofino Bay Hotel is by far the most romantic resort on-site. The hotel will sweep you up in its arms and make you fall in love all over again. Indulge in a sweet treat at Gelateria at Harbor Piazza or take a seat at one of the piazza tables and enjoy the gorgeous views of the harbor. The resort is also home to the authentic Italian restaurant Bice Ristorante. You can end the evening with a stroll along the Harbor Piazza waterfront and soak up the romantic ambiance of the Mediterranean under the twinkling lights. For the ultimate romantic gesture book a couples massage at the on-site Mandala Spa.

Dinner in Greece
This Valentine’s Day travel to Greece for a dining experience unlike any other at Mythos in Islands of Adventure. The romance begins when you enter the cavernous building and step inside a grotto on a distant ocean. The menu includes Mediterranean, Asian and American favorites including pad Thai, wraps, burgers and more.
