Veterans Day is Tuesday, November 11. Whether you’re a Veteran or not this day is the perfect opportunity to celebrate America. And what better way to do so than at some of the most patriotic places in Walt Disney World? Orlando Fun Tickets has compiled a list of our favorite places to honor our heroes and celebrate America in Walt Disney World. We hope you enjoy!

Main Street U.S.A. – There is nothing like entering Disney’s Magic Kingdom and suddenly being in an early-20th-century small-town America. Veterans and visitors alike will love the feel of community and togetherness Main Street U.S.A offers as you walk up and down the cobblestone roads. The many shops that line Main Street U.S.A. will take you back to a simpler time including Casey’s Corner, where you can buy traditional American ball park fare including hot dogs and fries. A real working barber shop gives haircuts and the Emporium carries a variety of Disney souvenirs such as toys, collectible pins, Mickey-ear hats and more.

Epcot – There are many places in Epcot that honor America but none is better than The American Adventure. This 30-minute stage show chronicles America’s illustrious past and boundless future via Audio-Animatronics, film and music. Guests can take this epic adventure with Benjamin Franklin and Mark Twain as your guide. You’ll join them atop the Statue of Liberty’s torch as they salute America and take you inside such historic events as the Boston Tea Party, the penning of the Declaration of Independence, the Civil War, the Great Depression and more. Along the way you will hear from American heroes such as Susan B. Anthony, Alexander Graham Bell, Chief Joseph, Frederick Douglas, Thomas Jefferson, John, F. Kennedy, Martin Luther King Jr., Will Rogers and Teddy Roosevelt.

Liberty Square – Just like Main Street U.S.A takes you back to another time, Liberty Square in Magic Kingdom will transport Veterans to the colonial era of America. The brick covered buildings are reminiscent of Williamsburg, Virginia and there is even a replica of the Liberty Bell. There are only three attractions in this area but one of them will walk you through America’s history and Presidents in the Hall of Presidents. Here you can get into the patriotic spirit once again as you peruse the pre-show area full of Presidential portraits and memorabilia. Once inside the theater you’ll listen as Abraham Lincoln delivers the Gettysburg Address and other Presidents such as George Washington and Barack Obama give speeches.
