Ahoy matey! LEGOLAND Florida is celebrating the Year of the Pirate next year with a Pirate-themed hotel, shows, characters and much more. Here are a few ways to celebrate all things pirate at LEGOLAND Florida in 2020:
Located steps from the LEGOLAND Park front gates, which opens April 17, the five-story, 150-room hotel invites guests to vacation like a pirate. Your stay at the hotel isn’t a typical Orlando stay. Instead you will embark on a pirate adventure beginning with immersive, themed crew quarters and interactive activities for both kids and adults. And if you’re wondering if you will get to search for treasure, the answer is, of course! Guests will get to discover treasure daily during an in-room treasure hunt. The hotel is also home to the pirate-themed Shipwreck Restaurant, an adults-only Smuggler's Bar, character experiences and kid-friendly entertainment areas.
But that’s not the only way you can celebrate the Year of the Pirate at LEGOLAND Florida. Just a day after LEGOLAND Pirate Hotel opens, the park will debut a new pirate water ski show. The show replaces Battle for Brickbeard's Bounty and will feature water stunts, pirate humor and skiing acrobatics.
Once you’ve learned how to sail the seven seas like a pirate in the water ski show, learn how to walk and talk like a pirate during PirateFest Weekends April 18-19, 25-26 & May 2-3! The event will include resort-wide pirate-themed activities, exclusive pirate character meet-and-greets and even the chance to run a rig.
But before any of that begins, LEGOLAND Florida invites you to swashbuckle like a pirate with the opening of LEGOLAND Water Park on February 15. In 2020 the water park will be open longer than ever before.
Stay tuned for more ways to celebrate the Year of the Pirate at LEGOLAND Florida. In the meantime, don’t miss the park’s annual Holidays at LEGOLAND beginning November 29. You can find discounted tickets to the Orlando theme park right here on OrlandoFunTickets.com.
