It wouldn't be a Florida vacation without the sunshine—it is the "Sunshine State" after all! And one of the best ways to soak in the sun is at some of the best pools in Orlando, located at the on-property hotels at the Universal Orlando Resort. These hotels offer everything, including big pools for swimming, quiet pools for lounging, water slides for sliding, spas for relaxing, and so much more. Pull up a lounge chair and check out our complete guide to the Universal Orlando hotel pools!

Portofino Bay Hotel
Be transported to the tranquil beauty of Italy at the Loews Portofino Bay Hotel. This premier hotel offers three stunning swimming pools. The Beach Pool is perfect for families looking to spend the day together, with a sandy beach area, kid's pool, two hot tubs and poolside activities. The Villa Pool offers private cabana rentals, perfect for kicking back and chilling with your own fridge and plasma TV. And finally, the Hillside Pool, located off the hotel's east wing, offers a bit more privacy. You'll feel like you're swimming at your own private Tuscan estate at this secluded pool.

Hard Rock Hotel Orlando
You'll find the most rocking pool at the Hard Rock Hotel Orlando. That's because the 12,000 square–foot pool features an underwater sound system. On select nights you may even catch a live concert poolside, and live DJs spinning tunes during the day. The Hard Rock pool also features a 260–foot slide, two hot tubs, a sand beach and a volleyball court. Head to the Beachclub for a cold beer, frozen cocktail or some loaded nachos all day long.

Royal Pacific Resort
Your tropical oasis awaits at the Loews Royal Pacific Resort, where you can sink your toes in the white sand beach around its massive lagoon-style pool. Relax under the shade of palm trees, like you're at a Polynesian island. For the kids there are two interactive water play areas where they can spray and play all day. On select evenings you can witness a torch-lighting ceremony featuring the "oli aloha" welcoming chant, a fire dancer and more—one of Orlando's best kept secrets!

Sapphire Falls Resort
If you're looking for the largest pool on property, look no further than the Caribbean escape of the Loews Sapphire Falls Resort. This 16,000-square-foot, zero-entry pool is surrounded by plenty of seating with shady umbrellas for kicking back in the sandy beach, as well as a hot tub, waterslide, children’s play area and a fire pit. Dine with your toes in the sand at Drhum Club Kantine, serving up fresh seafood, burgers and more, right by the pool.

Cabana Bay Beach Resort
The retro fun never ends at Universal’s Cabana Bay Beach Resort. With two large pools, a waterslide, and a lazy river, Cabana Bay offers something for the whole family. That's right, this hotel has its very own lazy river! The poolside bars offer cocktails for grownups, and frozen drinks for kids, in special no leak sipper cups you can take with you into the pools and lazy river. Now that's the way to relax! Cabana Bay also has incredible views of the massive volcano next door at Universal's Volcano Bay water park—as well as a private entrance path, just for hotel guests.

Aventura Hotel
South Beach meets modern style at Universal’s Aventura Hotel, home of the rooftop bar. The hotel's pool, splash zone for kids and fire pit are perfect for chilling after a long day at the theme parks. With Bar Sol, the sleek pool bar nearby, you're always within arm's length of a frozen drink, cocktail, cold beer or glass of wine. Try the "Liquid Sol" for the perfect blend of rum and citrus flavors—it's sunshine in a glass.

Universal’s Endless Summer Resort
The newest on-property hotel, Universal’s Endless Summer Resort – Surfside Inn and Suites, will have you feeling like you're catching a wave. That's because the pool is shaped like a big surfboard! There's plenty of seating for you to kick back and relax, including a bench that wraps around the inside of the pool. You can sit along the edge and soak in the Florida sun while enjoying the beautiful lake views. If you're feeling hungry after hanging ten, head over to the Sand Bar for a quick bite or a refreshing mixed drink.

Remember, when you're staying at a Universal Orlando Resort on-site hotel, you're just minutes away from the action. With two theme parks, a water park and an entertainment district, you're just a quick walk, boat ride, or shuttle trip away from a fun day of excitement!
