We are more than halfway to Halloween and Universal Orlando continues to reveal details for Halloween Horror Nights 2019, including it many haunted houses. In a recent announcement Universal invites guests to face their fears in the new scare maze Depths of Fear.
Depths of Fear takes a deep dive into the unknown underwater world where monstrous creatures and underwater elements come to life in a horrifying way. Get ready to face your fear of water and much more in this new haunted house.
The all-new original maze takes guests to a deep-sea mining company the has been infested by the parasitic “Mouthbrooders,” who spew their acidic flesh-eating eggs onto unsuspecting humans. Once infected, humans are driven to madness. As they try to escape the pressure builds as the self-destruct sequence counts down to the implosion of the facility.
This is the fourth haunted house announced for this year’s event. Previous announcements include Netflix’s Stranger Things, Nightingales: Blood Pit, and Universal Monsters.
Universal’s Halloween Horror Nights will run earlier and longer this year. The scarefest begins scaring September 6 and haunts through November 2. This year’s event includes 10 haunted houses, 5 scare zones, live entertainment and more.
