Have you ever wanted to visit Monstropolis? If you visit the Monsters, Inc. Laugh Floor in Tomorrowland, you’ll have a chance to go there. Since it’s the laughter they’re after, Mike and his comedy friends are ready to power the city with your help. Here’s five facts about this hilarious attraction!
You Can Share Joke
If you’ve got a funny joke that can help Mike to collect more laughs, you’re encouraged to share it! Through a special texting number and code word, guests can send in their joke along with their name and where they’re from. During the show if your joke gets used by the comedians, you’ll get credit!
Live Actors Are Used
The show features a few different funny monsters from Monstropolis helping Mike to collect laughs. While the monsters you see aren’t real, the voice actors behind them are -- and they’re live! By using computer-generated monsters, the mouths move seamlessly with the live actors’ voices. This means every joke, gag, and facial expression is completely custom to the show.
Watch The Big Screen
There are big screens on both sides of the theater, and you’ll want to keep your eyes on them at all times. You never know who may end up on the screen! The monsters are known for including the audience in their acts, and you may see yourself as a part of their show. From magic tricks to storytime, the audience involvement brings a lot of fun to the show!
It’s Good To Be “That Guy”
In each show there’s one audience member who get recognized the most. This person, who is usually a man, is known as “That Guy” by the monsters! Throughout the show “That Guy” will reappear on the screen, helping to collect more laughs for Monstropolis. After all of the extra attention, “That Guy” won’t go home empty handed! Once the show has ended, you’ll receive an “I Was ‘That Guy’” sticker to wear around the park for the rest of the day.

With so many unique audience members, live “monster” voices, and other show elements, you’ll be rolling with laughter every time you visit.
