Disney Springs is one of the top destinations for families. With four distinct neighborhoods and more than 150 restaurants, retailers and experiences, the entertainment district at Walt Disney World is an excellent spot to spend the day with the family. Let’s take a look at the top 10 family-friendly experiences at Disney Springs:
Helium Balloon Rides
Believe it or not there are some high-flying adventures for families at Disney Springs. The entertainment district offers a helium balloon ride by Aerophile. Guests board a Aéro30 helium balloon and fly 400 feet in the air for gorgeous views of Orlando’s landscape — including Disney’s theme parks.
Once you’ve done some time in the air it’s time to take your adventures to the land and the sea with an Amphicar tour. An amphicar is a cross between a car and a boat that can travel on land and sea. Disney Springs’ Amphicar Tours are hosted by The Boathouse and take guests onto Lake Buena Vista, where you’ll enjoy a 25-minute tour of Disney Springs’ landmarks and natural beauty.
Splitsville Luxury Lanes
Bowling families can enjoy a game or two at Splitsville Luxury Lanes. The two-story, 50,000-square-foot bowling and dining venue is a perfect addition to your Disney Springs adventures. Splitsville offers 30 bowling lanes, billiards, live entertainment and indoor/outdoor seating. Guests can also fuel up for the game with such dishes as fresh-rolled sushi, steak chimichurri, cheeseburgers and hand-tossed pizzas.
Star Wars and Marvel Merchandise
Feel the Force at Disney Springs at the area’s two Star Wars-themed shops - Star Wars Galactic Outpost and Star Wars Trading Post. Stock up on all things Star Wars including clothing, toys, accessories, art and more. Meanwhile, Marvel fans can stop by Superhero Headquarters for the best Marvel superhero merch.
Disney Springs is home to a slew of dining options, some of which are reserved specifically for dessert! We recommend stopping in to at least one of these shops (if not all) to satisfy your sweet tooth and put a smile on your kids’ faces. Indulge in artfully made pastries, beautiful cakes and other delectable treats at Amorette’s Patisserie. Vivoli Il Gelato serves up delicious flavors of Italian gelato and Sprinkles treats you to decadent cupcakes, layer cakes, cookies, brownies, and ice cream. Sprinkles even has a cupcake ATM which dispenses freshly baked cupcakes and cookies 24/7.

Plus, check out the amazing LEGO sculptures of iconic Disney characters and scenes. And of course enjoy some shopping by picking up your favorite LEGO sets and characters.
You may not actually be inside Walt Disney World but that doesn’t mean you still can’t enjoy a ride. Kids can ride family favorites like the classic Marketplace Carousel and Marketplace Train Express.
One of our family’s favorite things to do at Disney Springs is to eat! The entertainment district offers an incredible variety of dining options that fits every taste bud and time frame. Choose from upscale eats or quick bites, and don’t forget to try out something interactive like Rainforest Cafe and T-Rex Cafe. For something faster yet still fun head to the food trucks located near Bongos Cuban Cafe on the West Side of Disney Springs.
Whether you are a Coca-Cola fan or not, a visit to the Coca-Cola store at Disney Springs is always a fun experience. Make sure you head to the second level to see the beloved Coca-Cola Polar Bear.
