Food for Thought

There is much to plan for a Walt Disney World adventure. Which rides to take, where to eat, where to stay but have you ever tried to figure out what to snack on? We’ve put in countless hours of research to bring you the very best snacks to enjoy at Disney’s Magic Kingdom:

Dole Whip - A Magic Kingdom classic, the Dole Whip is a non-dairy frozen treat that is especially tasty on a hot day. You won’t mind waiting in the long lines to get your hands on either the pineapple, orange or vanilla soft-serve frozen concoction covered in juice. It really hits the spot.

Mickey Bar - There is nothing more fun to eat at Disney’s Magic Kingdom then the Mickey Bar. The ice cream bar isn’t fancy, in fact it’s just vanilla ice cream covered in chocolate and shaped like Mickey Mouse but it’s delicious and one you’ll get every time you visit the park.

Cinnamon Rolls - A newer snack, the cinnamon rolls at Gaston’s Tavern are to die for. This cinnamon laced sugar and yeast treat has the perfect amount of gooey icing with a warm cinnamon-y center and doughy outside. It’s everything you want in a cinnamon roll and pairs perfectly with LeFou’s Brew.

Nutella Waffle - This isn’t your ordinary waffle. Stuffed with warm nutella and fresh strawberries and bananas, the Nutella Waffle will satisfy any sweet craving, and keep you energized for the rest of your busy day. The Nutella Waffle is available at Smoky Hollow Refreshments.

Mickey Mouse Shorts Sundae - Just off Main Street U.S.A. sits the Plaza Restaurant. Inside is a massive treat the entire family can enjoy. It’s the Mickey Mouse Shorts Sundae and it comes with scoops of vanilla, chocolate and strawberry ice cream, hot fudge, caramel and strawberry topping, whipped cream, chocolate chips, peanut butter chips and cherries. Plus, it comes in an adorable souvenir bowl, Mickey Mouse’ shorts.
