Universal Orlando is taking you onset of Studio 1A in New York City with the new TODAY Cafe. Beginning May 16, guests will feel as if they stepped onto the TODAY set with unique theming and specialty items inspired by NBC’s longest-running morning show.
Universal’s creative and culinary teams teamed up with TODAY to create an atmosphere that looks and feels like Studio 1A where TODAY broadcasts daily. The outside of the cafe will include vibrant orange awnings, floor-to-ceiling windows and outdoor seating meant to look like the TODAY plaza.
Inside, guests will step into the limelight and enjoy more orange theming with a modern and sleek design. While you dine, you can catch the top headlines from TODAY’s live broadcast.
The TODAY Cafe menu starts with the specialty TODAY Cafe Blend, made exclusively for the venue, featuring locally-roasted private label coffee. You’ll be able to enjoy handcrafted cappuccinos, espresso, lattes, cold brew and more while indulging in pastries made fresh daily.
Other options include avocado toast, an organic acai bowl, sandwiches, salads and more. One of the best things about the TODAY Cafe menu is that there will be seasonal dishes inspire day a TODAY personality.
The first is Al’s Avocado Toast with smashed avocados, cherry tomatoes, artichokes, roasted red onions, tomato aioli, toasted farmhouse white, served with bread and butter pickles.
The Mulberry Street Italian Sandwich comes with porchetta, spicy aioli, coppa, provolone, arugula, roasted tomato, basil aioli, on a crusty baguette.
The Chinatown Chicken Salad includes baby arugula, napa cabbage, radicchio, shiitake mushrooms, daikon sprouts wasabi cashews, soy peanut vinaigrette.
SOHO is full of roasted cauliflower, Brussels sprouts, arugula, faro, avocado, prosciutto, lemon vinaigrette.
Vegans will fall in love with I <3 Vegan with roasted portobello mushrooms, peppers, zucchini, carrots, vegan japaleno cheese, sun-dried tomato pesto, pressed cranberry artisan bread.
Plus, there will be wine and beer on tap, as well as a delicious platter inspired by the fourth hour of TODAY.
TODAY Cafe will be located at Universal Studios Florida, just inside the iconic arches and across the street from the Universal Studios Store.
