Wolfgang Puck has expanded his offerings at Disney Springs. The celebrity chef currently has his Marketplace Counter Service location, Wolfgang Puck Express, and he previously operated Wolfgang Puck Grand Cafe and Dining Room. Now, he’s opened Wolfgang Puck Bar & Grill.
The new restaurant is located in the Town Center of Disney Springs, in between the Town Center’s indoor shopping stretch and the Coca-Cola Store and Rooftop Bar. The building offers a fresh, modern feel with pops of red leather and neutral tones. Exposed wood beams give it a barn-like feel and the unique light fixtures are just one of the many modern twists.
While there are certainly many things to catch the eye here, including the giant personal photos of Wolfgang, perhaps the open kitchens are the most stunning. There is a pizza kitchen to the left of the entrance and the main open kitchen is in the back of the restaurant. There is even a Gelato bar and bakery area, complete with a walk-up window from the outside.
Now let’s get to the eats. The menu for Wolfgang Puck Bar & Grill includes the Wolfgang’s “California” cuisine he’s famous for. Starters include Grilled Tandoori Chicken Wings, tempura Calamari & Shrimp and others. You can either choose to Share for the Whole Table or get individual appetizers and salads.
Lunch entrees include Grilled Sea Bass with shaved fennel salad and peperonata; Grilled Shrimp “Greek Salad” with marinated vegetables, yogurt dressing and feta cheese.1 Dinner includes platters such as a 32-oz Porterhouse Steak for two, porchetta, Chicken Schnitzel and an Olive Oil-Seared Red Snapper. Children can choose from Cheeseburgers, Pizza, Grilled Cheese and other kid-friendly dishes.
Sip on such cocktails as the Lilly Belle, named after Walt Disney’s wife. It’s made with gin, aperol, sparkling rose and lemon. The Garden of Eden includes house-infused vodka, tea and lemon. And the Papa Doble featured rum, maraschino and grapefruit. The Bar & Grill also serves up craft beers with domestic options from Florida and California.
The dessert menu will certainly tempt with Carrot Cake, baked Alaska, Creme Brûlée, Gelato Tasting, Sorbet Tasting, Cheesecake “Spanish Style” and more.
