In an attempt to become the most terrifying Halloween Horror Nights of all time, Universal Orlando has just announced a house based on Rob Zombie’s horror masterpiece, House of 1000 Corpses.

Inspired by the 2003 cult hit that kicked off Zombie’s film directing career along with the twisted saga of the Firefly family, including Captain Spaulding, Baby Firefly and Otis, the new House of 1000 Corpses Maze will put visitors into the terrifying tourist attraction, and the absolute horror that follows.

The movie’s offbeat roadside tourist stop, Captain Spaulding’s Museum of Monsters and Madmen, introduces guests to some of the country’s most infamous serial killers, including Dr. Satan, a demented surgeon, who is the leader of the Firefly family.

Guests will travel to the home of the Firefly family, a sadistic clan of psychotic killers, where you will navigate through dark tunnels within the bowels of the house. The house is full of the victims of Dr. Satan’s debauched operations. Dr. Satan awaits a new installment of victims to continue his twisted medical experiments.

House of 1000 Corpses previously appeared at Halloween Horror Nights in 2010, and now with Rob Zombie’s Devil’s Rejects sequel Three From Hell just around the corner, this year’s house is a terrifying fit.

House of 1000 Corpses joins fellow mazes Netflix’s Stranger Things, Nightingales: Blood Pit, Universal Monsters, Depths of Fear, Yeti: Terror of the Yukon, Ghostbusters, Killer Klowns from Outer Space, Us and Graveyard Games.

Halloween Horror Nights kicks off September 6 and runs on select nights through November 2.
