A new thrill is coming to Aquatica! KareKare Curl, the new water ride will arrive at the Orlando water park sometime this year, and with it will come a “high-adrenaline, weightless adventure” you don’t want to miss.

“KareKare” means “waves” at Aquatica and when you combine that with “curl” meaning in a curved shape - you have a “curved shaped wave,” which is exactly what riders will experience when they climb the ride’s vertical wave wall. KareKare will hold two passengers and offers plenty of high-speed fun.

Construction is already underway, with many of the fiberglass slide sections arriving on property.

Over the next several weeks, teams will be hard at work pre-assembling sections before moving them to the job site to be hoisted into place.

Meanwhile, inside the park, another team is prepping the land where KareKare Curl will sit, which is right between Omaka Rocka and the side-by-side wave pools, Big Surf Shores and Cutback Cove. When it opens, the new attraction will tower 5-stories above the park’s white sandy beaches.

Stay tuned for more details on KareKare Curl. In the meantime you can enjoy Aquatica’s other water thrill rides with discounted tickets to the park here on Orlando Fun Tickets.
