It’s official! Guests to Aquatica Orlando, SeaWorld Orlando’s water park, can now enjoy new thrills and splashes with the opening of KareKare Curl.

To understand what the newest ride entails we must first break down its name. “KareKare” means “waves” at Aquatica and combined with “Curl” meaning in a curved shape, KareKare Curl could best be described as a “curve shaped wave.” So what exactly does that mean? It means, riders will experience a wave so massive and so, well, curvy you’ll want to experience its thrill again and again.

The two-passenger ride begins when riders climb a vertical wave wall. From there, riders careen down a snaking tube, before shooting up a vertical, zero-g wall! Adrenaline junkies will love the speed and weightlessness of this new adventure, and we love the fact that with the addition of this new slide ride, Aquatica becomes the thrill leader among Florida water parks, with more thrill rides than any other.

The opening of KareKare Curl signals the second year in a row that Aquatica Orlando has unveiled a new attraction. Ray Rush, the park’s newest attraction, which was recently named the world’s best new water ride in a nationwide poll, opened last year.

You can scream your way through KareKare Curl, which is located right beside the park’s two wave pools. For a chance to experience the newest Aquatica thrill ride look for discounted tickets to the water park here on Orlando Fun Tickets.
