A rainy day at Walt Disney World resort is better than a sunny day anywhere else! Although it’s known as The Sunshine State, Florida is known for its random showers. If you find your Disney vacation forecast includes a rainy day, never fear! There are plenty of exciting activities and attractions to experience in rain or shine at the Most Magical Place on Earth. To help you plan your perfect rainy Disney day, we’re sharing three rainy day activities in each park!

Magic Kingdom
One Magic Kingdom activity that you can only experience on a rainy day is the Rainy-Day Cavalcade. This fun Main Street U.S.A. parade features a special soundtrack and some of your favorite Disney characters riding down the street in antique vehicles!

Some of Magic Kingdom’s most iconic attractions are perfect to ride in rain or shine. Attractions like Space Mountain, Pirates of the Caribbean, and the Haunted Mansion feature indoor or covered queues which will keep you dry while waiting to ride!

Fantasyland is a great place to be on a rainy day in the Magic Kingdom. With so many covered or indoor attractions so close together, it’s easy to cover a lot of ground especially as crowds begin to die down in the rainy weather. Enjoy 3-D PhilharMagic or meet your favorite Disney princesses without traveling too far!

Epcot
Waiting for a rain storm to pass? Make your way to the Disney and Pixar Short Film Festival. Enjoy three different short films on the big screen while you sit back and relax! You’ll be reenergized once the rain passes.

The Land pavilion is home to two iconic Epcot attractions, Soarin’ Around the World and Living with the Land. Once you’ve completed your journey, get in line for Living with the Land next door and get a behind-the-scenes look at some of the fruits and vegetables you enjoy on property.

Disney’s Hollywood Studios
Sing along to your favorite Frozen tunes with Anna, Elsa, and the Royal Historians of Arendelle at For the First Time in Forever: A Frozen Singalong Celebration. Don’t remember all of the words? No worries, they’re right on the screen!

Make your way to the end of Sunset Boulevard to embark on two of Walt Disney World’s biggest thrills! The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror drops you directly into the Twilight Zone on the ultimate elevator ride, while Rock ‘N’ Roller Coasters super-stretch limo races you through the streets of Los Angeles to get you to Aerosmith’s concert on time.
