Epcot’s various festival seasons throughout the year are famous for their themed outdoor kitchens, interactive experiences, and kid-friendly scavenger hunts. Walt Disney World has created colorful scavenger hunt experiences for each festival, and this springtime festival hunt is known as Spike’s Pollen-Nation Exploration.

Returning for its second year, Spike’s Pollen-Nation Exploration hunt ventures outside of the normal World Showcase-exclusive path and instead pushes guests to explore Epcot’s various flower beds around the park. To start your scavenger hunt experience, you’ll need to visit the Odyssey Center, Disney Traders, Port of Entry, Pin Central, World Traveler, Mouse Gear, or select Festival Markets to purchase a scavenger hunt map for $6.99 plus tax.

With your map in hand, use the clues on each location spot to search the flower beds for Spike pollinating various festival blooms. As you find the matching bloom for each map location, mark it with the corresponding sticker! Once your Pollen-Nation Exploration is complete, return to any of the map purchasing locations to turn in your map for a special springtime surprise while supplies last.

Spike’s Pollen-Nation Exploration features 12 different garden locations, which makes this scavenger hunt the perfect way to take in the beauty of the blooms throughout the park. If you’re up for more festival scavenger hunt fun, starting on Friday, April 5, a second Easter-themed scavenger hunt experience will also be available. The Egg-Stravaganza Scavenger Hunt will end promptly on Sunday, April 21, along with the Easter season, but Spike’s Pollen-Nation Exploration will continue until the end of Epcot’s Flower and Garden Festival on Monday, June 3.

So if you’re headed to Epcot this spring for some festival family fun, Spike’s Pollen-Nation Exploration could be the perfect way to get the whole family excited about exploring the festival offerings. Don’t skip out on this fun and interactive festival experience.
