The Edison at Disney Springs

The industrial-gothic themed restaurant and entertainment venue The Edison is now open at Disney Springs. The newest addition to the entertainment district opened just in time for the new year with a grand opening party on New Year’s Eve.

The Edison is truly unlike any restaurant you’ve ever been to. It is a fully immersive experience coupling style, art and design with food, cocktails and entertainment. The Edison features multiple themed areas to explore such as the Lab performance space, The Ember Parlour, Telegraph Lounge, The Patent Office, The Tesla Lounge, The Radio Room and the waterfront patio.

“The lights are officially on at The Edison and we’re delighted that guests can now experience the extraordinary entertainment, craft cocktails and cuisine unlike anything else in Central Florida,” said Nick Valenti, CEO of Patina Restaurant Group in a statement. “The reimagined power plant celebrates an era of invention and imagination in a new and distinct way.”

Open for lunch and dinner, The Edison serves up a contemporary American fare with such menu items as Pork Belly Chops, Crispy Fried Chicken, and The Edison Burger. The Edison will soon introduce the Bartender’s Midnight Breakfast, a late-night menu with traditional breakfast foods at night.

Guests can wash it all down with artfully crafted cocktails, beers and wines and house-made punches.The Edison Signature Series includes cocktails such as The Wanderlust, made with Pernod Absinthe, Noelt’s Gin, Creme de Violette, pineapple syrup and lemon; Lady marmalade, made with Corsair Absinthe, Hangar One, Noilly Prat vermouth, Gifford Ginger, versus and pomegranate; The Crimson Vesper, made with Absolute Elyx, Lilet Rogue, Plymouth Sloe Gin, orange; and The Edison, Woodford Reserve, Belle de Brillet Pear Liqueur, lemon.

In addition to the delicious food and cocktails, The Edison features nightly entertainment ranging from live DJs, musicians, aerialists and dancers.

The Edson is open Sunday through Wednesday form 11:30 a.m. to 1 a.m. and Thursday-Saturday from 11:30 a.m. to 2 a.m.
