Universal Orlando’s Aventura Hotel offers plenty of fun and unique amenities for those who want to hang on-site and those who want to get out and explore the parks. Here are 5 things you can’t miss at Universal’s newest resort:
Walking Path to Splashes
Did you know when you stay at Aventura Hotel you’re just minutes away from the splashes at Volcano Bay? Thanks to the walking path that connects the two you’ll be at Volcano Bay in just 5 minutes, and when you combine that with the added benefit of Early Park Admission one hour before the park opens, you’ll enjoy even more splashes.
Who doesn’t love a treat after a long day of playing? End the thrilling day with Aventura Hotel’s many treats including a scoop of creamy gelato from Urban Pantry, or better yet try the mega dessert the gelato panini. This dessert includes a pressed warm sweet roll with a gelato in the middle, served on a plate drizzled with chocolate sauce and topped with a sprinkle of powdered sugar. The resort offers a variety of different gelato flavors.
Virtual Reality Game Room
The thrills don’t stop when you leave one of Universal’s many theme parks. In fact, Aventura Hotel can keep the excitement going with the VR Game Room. Located not the second floor next to the fitness center, the VR Game Room features popular VR games like Fruit Ninja, Merry Snowballs or Space Pirate Trainer.
One of Aventura Hotel’s best amenities is the In-Room Tablet. Guests can do everything from one of these including adjust the room temperature to order room service without getting out of bed. You can also sign in to your Netflix or Hulu accounts to stream your favorite shows.
Universal Orlando’s first-ever rooftop bar and grill, Bar 17 Bistro is the perfect spot to relax after a day at the pool. The views of Universal’s Volcano Bay are stunning, and the internationally-inspired menu is mouthwatering, but it’s the music that will get you to stay well past your drink or meal. Every Thursday, Friday and Saturday night, a DJ brings a mix of current and classic hits to entertain visitors.
