The Magic Kingdom is filled with amazing rides, but sometimes the greatest attractions are the food. The Magic Kingdom offers affordable treats that you won’t find anywhere else in the world – here are five must-try snacks for less than 5 bucks.
Warm Cinnamon Roll at Gaston's Tavern
This warm cinnamon roll is huge! And it's covered in gooey icing. It's a big filling snack that makes it a great deal for under five bucks. You'll find it at Gaston's Tavern near the back of the park. Gaston uses antlers in all of his decorating, which presides over nice comfy seating. Pull up a seat and take a load off while sharing this incredible treat. Here's a tip: Ask for extra icing and they will usually add more for no extra charge. Another inexpensive treat from this location is the sliced apples with caramel. Or, if you're in a particularly French mood, you can't go wrong with a chocolate croissant.
Cheshire Cat Tail from Cheshire Café
You never know where that mysterious Cheshire Cat from Alice in Wonderland will appear! The Cheshire Cat Tail is a scrumptious flaky fresh-baked twisted croissant treat filled with melty chocolate chips and covered in colorful frosting drizzle. It can only be found at the Cheshire Cafe near the Mad Tea Party ride. Grab a coffee or lemonade slushy with your treat and enjoy it in the shaded seating area overlooking Cinderella Castle. Not only is this a delicious snack, but it's so photogenic you'll want to share it all over social media.
Dole Whip at Aloha Isle
This is the quintessential Magic Kingdom snack. The Dole Whip frozen treat in Adventureland has been a staple of the park for over 30 years. It's soft velvety texture is like soft-serve ice cream, but Dole Whip is dairy-free. You can also get your Dole Whip swirled with vanilla soft serve, or for a dollar more, order the Pineapple Float. That's a Dole Whip served in real pineapple juice. The line at Aloha Isle can get pretty long, but luckily you can order this frozen treat using the Disney App's Mobile Order option and bypass the wait.
Citrus Swirl at Sunshine Tree Terrace
The Citrus Swirl is Dole Whip's close cousin, located nearby in Adventureland at the Sunshine Tree Terrace. It's the perfect mix of soft-serve vanilla ice cream and frozen orange juice to cool you off on a hot Florida day. If you're a fan of orange juice or Creamsicle flavors, this is one to try. It can be served in a cup for under five dollars or as a float with orange soda for just a dollar more.
Stuffed Pretzel from The Lunching Pad
Looking for something more savory? Look no further than The Lunching Pad in the center of Tomorrowland, right under the People Mover station. In addition to quick lunch items like hot dogs you'll find warm pretzels here. They always have the classic Mickey-shaped pretzel, which is a wonderful snack on the go, but they also offer a specialty stuffed pretzel. Right now it's the Pepper Jack-stuffed pretzel, filled with slightly spicy melted cheese inside. Depending on the time of year, they may offer the cream cheese pretzel or jalapeño cheese pretzel.
