Top Things to Do

Disney’s Hollywood Studios has seen quite a bit of change over the past few years and the Orlando theme park is about to see a whole lot more in the next year and a half. Hollywood Studios will soon welcome new themed lands, attractions and more including a Star Wars themed-hotel. Here are the top attractions coming to Hollywood Studios:

Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge
The most anticipated attraction to come to Disney’s Hollywood Studios is the 14-acre Star Wars-themed land, Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge. Visitors will be able to interact with characters such as Kylo Ren and BB-8, dine at the Cantina and enjoy all things Star Wars. The land will open in 2019.

Millennium Falcon Attraction
One of the two featured attractions coming to Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge is the ride Millennium Falcon. Visitors will be able to crew the ship for the ride.

Star Wars-Theme Hotel
If you just can’t get enough Star Wars in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge spend the night amongst the Jedi knights at the Star Wars-themed hotel. The resort will invite guests on a multi-day voyage aboard a starship and guests will even be able to gaze out at space through their window.

Toy Story Land
In addition to Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, Disney’s Hollywood Studios will open Toy Story Land in summer 2018. The land will shrink visitors down to the size of toys and put them in Andy’s backyard for adventures among popular toys from the films. It will include a new Alien Swirling Saucers ride featuring the green aliens from the movies.

Slinky Dog Dash
Toy Story Land will also include a roller coaster themed to the films’ Slinky Dog. The ride is a family coaster themed as if Andy built it in his backyard using his Mega Coaster Play Kit. The attraction’s ride vehicles will send riders dipping, dodging and dashing around turns and drops Andy has created.

Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway
Taking the place of The Great Movie Ride at Disney’s Hollywood Studios is Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway. This ride-through attraction is based on the retro-style Mickey Mouse cartoon shorts on the Disney Channel.
