Mickey & Minnie’s Surprise Celebration Arrives at Magic Kingdom
Iconic Disney characters Mickey and Minnie Mouse will kick off the year with Mickey and Minnie’s Surprise Celebration at Magic Kingdom on January 18. The fun includes the Move It! Shake It! MousekeDance It! Street Party with Mickey and Minnie and their pals Donald Duck, Daisy Duck, Goofy, Pluto, Max, Chip ’n Dale and others. The procession marches down Main Street USA towards Cinderella Castle. Magic Kingdom will also welcome the Dapper Dans, the Casey’s Corner piano player and others with special musical moments throughout the day.
Party with Pixar Pals and More as Disney’s Hollywood Studios Celebrates 30 Years
Disney’s Hollywood Studios will celebrate its 30th anniversary next year with plenty of new fun. Beginning Jan. 18, Pixar Place will transform into a city block from Pixar’s Incredibles films. On the block will be super suit designer Edna Mode, Jack-Jack, Mr. Incredible, Mrs. Incredible and Frozone. They’ll all come together in a fun dance party. Also returning to the park Jan. 18 are fellow Pixar characters Mike and Sully from Pixar’s Monsters Inc. Lightning McQueen’s Racing Academy will speed into Disney’s Hollywood Studios in the spring.
25 Years of The Lion King at Disney’s Animal Kingdom
Come celebrate The Lion King’s debut with special fun at Disney’s Animal Kingdom. From Jan 18 to September 30, feel the love during the Hakuna Matata Time Dance Party. Timon and Rafiki will be on hand playing games inspired by the film. Guests can also enjoy new three-dimensional photo opportunities let you become a part of The Lion King in a new way.
More Music at Epcot Arts and Flower & Garden Festivals
2019 will be a musical year at Epcot. The theme park is creating more musical adventures for guests during their many international festivals beginning with the Epcot International Festival of the Arts, Jan 18 - Feb. 25. The festival will expand its Broadway Concert Series to seven days a week with different pairs of Disney on Broadway stars singing their favorite songs from award-winning Disney on Broadway productions.
The 2019 Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival will also expand its musical offerings with seven days of Garden Rocks Concerts. There will also be three concerts per day of the festival.
Goodbye IllumiNations: Reflections of Earth
There will be one farewell in 2019. The popular IllumiNations: Reflections of Earth at Epcot will light up the night sky one final time in the second half of 2019. An all-new nighttime spectacular will take IllumiNation’s place. Stay tuned for more details.
