Topolino's Terrace Character Breakfast recently opened at Walt Disney World's Riviera Resort and it has been a hit since opening day! Wondering if this breakfast is worth a journey outside the parks?
For starters, it's important to know that the Disney Riviera Resort is easily accessible. A ride on the new Disney Skyliner, transport by bus, or a Minnie Van can get you there easily. If you have driven your own car to Walt Disney World you can even park at the resort while you eat. So, don't let the location deter you. We think it's well worth the special trip to check out this new restaurant!
Fun Character Interactions at Topolino's Terrace
Topolino's Terrace features Mickey, Minnie, Donald and Daisy in true artistic fashion. Each of the characters hold their own artistic talent and they are there to share it with you! We loved that the characters spent a good amount of time with each guest and if you really want a fun interaction, be sure to dress the part and wear your best artsy attire!
Breakfast and a show at Topolino's Terrace
Even if you or your little ones are not fans of meeting characters, this character breakfast has a fun little show to keep you entertained during your meal. It's not terribly overwhelming but is fun to watch, providing you with fun music and the characters dressed in their artistic best.
Unique Menu at Topolino's Terrace
We love the unique options available at the character breakfast at Topolino's Terrace. Walt Disney World has recently incorporated a new plant based menu and we are happy to report that Topolino's Terrace carries some of these plant based items for breakfast! Specifically they offer a plant based breakfast sausage that is really delicious, but also have a good selection of items that don't contain meat in their breakfast menu. Aside from their plant based items, they have plenty of other delicious selections as well. And we can confidently say that the Wood Fired butcher's steak offered at breakfast was one of the best steaks we've ever had at Walt Disney World. From waffles to omelets to breakfast steaks, there is something for everyone at Topolino's Terrace.
Quality Food at Topolino's Terrace
Not only did we love the variety available at Topolino Terrace, but the food was hands down one of the best breakfasts we've had on Walt Disney World property. Everything tasted fresh and well-seasoned, the portion sizes were appropriate, the breakfast pastries at the beginning of the meal were a perfect starter and even the drinks were spot on.
Affordable Character Meal at Topolino's Terrace
While the word "affordable" really lies in the eye of the beholder, we like to think that Topolino's is pretty affordable for Walt Disney World character meal standards. They do accept DVC and annual passholder membership discounts here to help save you a few dollars.
Overall, we think this new character breakfast meal is going to become a top favorite among Disney fans. With excellent service, quality menu items and a fun atmosphere, it's definitely at the top of our list!
