Packing might not be your favorite part about traveling but as long as you know what to bring it doesn’t have to be overwhelming. Orlando Fun Tickets has compiled a list of the essentials for your next Orlando Theme Park visit.

Sun Protection
Regardless of when you visit an Orlando theme park you will need to bring sun screen. Being outside all day long, even in the cold winter months, can result in a sunburn. This is especially true if you are coming from up north and don’t yet have a sun tan. Sunglasses and a hat are also advised.

Pool-Going Wear
You’ll almost always need a swimsuit and cover-up on your Orlando vacation. Whether you’re just hanging by the pool at your hotel after a day at the park or visiting a water park, these items are essential. We suggest bringing a couple different ones too.

Rain Protection
Florida weather can be unpredictable, which is why it is important to bring rain gear just in case. Your best bet is a rain jacket or poncho. This allows you to still be able to use your arms and move easily through the rain.

Layers
If you do happen to get wet after a rain shower, or if you get cold easily, we suggest bringing layers. Being able to take off a light sweater after a storm or throw on one when in the cold AC will make your day more comfortable.

Shoes and Sandals
Regular tennis shoes are the shoes of choice for a day of walking in the parks. But when you are done you might want to take off the sneakers and slip on sandals for the pool or other adventures where you won’t be walking so much.

Water
It’s important to stay hydrated during your day. While the parks do not let in any glass bottles, you can bring a refillable plastic water bottle. Bring it and don’t forget to fill it ups throughout your day.
