At Walt Disney World you can plan to See the Magic in 2020. With new rides, restaurants and shows on the way there will be no shortage of amazing new things to do. If you're planning a trip to Disney this year, here are 5 things that will make it worth the trip!
Mickey and Minnie's Runaway Railway
Walt Disney World finally gets a ride honoring the mice who started it all! Mickey and Minnie Mouse get together for a picnic that quickly turns chaotic in this new ride involving a train, Goofy, and scenes from the Disney Channel's Mickey Mouse shorts. The pre-show and ride take place in the Chinese Theater at Hollywood Studios. You can check FastPass+ availability now on the My Disney Experience app.
Space 220 Restaurant
This new restaurant at Epcot's Future World will be adjacent to Mission: SPACE. Guests can enter into the hidden entrance, where they board a transportation chamber ready to launch them into "space"! This two floor restaurant offers views of space and can accommodate up to 400 guests! You can expect both views and foods from out of this world. Opening in 2020.
Remy's Ratatouille Adventure
Finally, our favorite culinary rat gets a spot at the Epcot World Showcase table! Found in France, this trackless 4D dark ride attraction shrinks guests down to the size of a rat and brings all the sights and sounds of Ratatouille to the experience. With classic French buildings, a Remy fountain and even a Gusteau's sign, this new ride will be accessible from the new courtyard in France under construction now. Opening Summer 2020.
Mickey Shorts Theater
The new Mickey shorts theater at Hollywood Studios means you can settle in and watch a Mickey cartoon or two if you need a break from your busy, rainy, or super-hot day. This new theater is made in the fun animated style seen in the Mickey shorts themselves and will also special spots for photo opportunities. Opening March 2020.
HarmoniUS
Epcot's current digital light show, Epcot Forever, will hand over the reins to HarmoniUS this year, honoring music from around the world. This new show is about the spark of a dream and how it can bring a whole new world of magical possibilities. New songs, fireworks and digital displays honor Epcot and everything it stands for. Opening in 2020.
