This 30-acre water park features the ultimate combination of high-speed thrills and relaxing, tropical surroundings for the entire family. The Key West atmosphere blends in slides, waterfalls, a 17,000-square-foot wave pool with waves up to five feet high and a children’s water playground along with outdoor cafes, picnic and sunbathing areas, shops and a championship white-sand volleyball complex to create an unforgettable experience.
There are multiple dining options to keep you satisfied during your day of fun in the sun and surf. The Surfside Café serves pizza, hot dogs, grilled chicken, Caesar salad, soft serve ice cream in homemade waffle cones along with homemade funnel cakes. Mango Joes' delivers hamburgers, fajita sandwiches, chicken strips and fresh made desserts. Other snack locations throughout the park, like Surfside Ice Cream and the Bayou Beach Club, serve ice cream novelties, cotton candy, dippin’ dots, iced drinks and popcorn.
Adventure Island also has gift shops such as The Island Surf Gift Shop, which features a wide selection of name brand sportswear and beachwear, as well as ample locker space, showers and changing areas and cabanas that are available for rental on the day of your visit. In addition, for all the guests’ safety while in the park, more than 50 certified lifeguards supervise all water attractions and activities each day. There is also a first-aid station in the park staffed by EMTs and a registered nurse at all times.
Coolers are permitted into the park, but they must be 16 quarts or less and cannot exceed 15 inches in length or width. A measuring frame will be located at the front gates of the park to measure all coolers as they enter the park’s premises. However, glass and alcoholic beverages are not permitted to enter the park at any time.
