What to Eat

If you are making your way to Universal CityWalk for a performance of Blue Man Group, there is no shortage of dining options for you to pair with the show. Whether you want to grab a quick bite to eat before or enjoy a sit-down meal after the one-hour and 45-minute production, Universal CityWalk has something for you!

Located between Universal Studios Florida and Universal’s Islands of Adventure, Universal CityWalk is a 30-acre area that is packed with bars, nightclubs, restaurants and other attractions, like the AMC Universal Cineplex 20 with IMAX, Hollywood Drive-In Golf and of course, Blue Man Group. This entertainment are has become an attraction in and of itself, and the dining options are seemingly endless as well!

If you want a sit-down restaurant, you have a long list to choose from, and you won’t find many chains among these names. These options include Jimmy Buffet’s Margaritaville, which has an island feel with three bars and live music (and the classic ‘cheeseburger in paradise’); the world’s largest Hard Rock Café; Pat O’Brien’s, a replica of New Orleans’ favorite watering hole; the Bubba Gump Shrimp Factory; Bob Marley – A Tribute to Freedom; The Cowfish Sushi Burger Bar; Vivo Italian Kitchen; Antojitos Authentic Mexican Food; Hot Dog Hall of Fame and the Red Oven Pizza Bakery. Also opening in the fall of 2015 is the NBA Sports Grill & Brew, a unique dining experience featuring open fire grills, a wall of foosball tables and nearly 100 HD screens playing constant sports coverage.

For a nicer meal, make reservations for Emeril’s Restaurant Orlando. This fine dining establishment serves New Orleans cuisine with a contemporary flair, and entrees range in price from $21-$42.

If you’re looking to save some money or time, Universal CityWalk also has plenty of quick service options for you as well. The Top of the Walk food court has a little something for every palette, with the Bread Box (sandwiches), BK Whopper Bar, Moe’s (Mexican), Panda Express (Chinese), the Fusion Bistro Sushi & Sake Bar or make your own frozen yogurt concoction at Menchie’s. You can also indulge in some sweet treats at Cold Stone Creamery, grab a famous hot cinnamon roll at Cinnabon, get a pick-me-up at Starbucks, enjoy a frozen beverage at the Fat Tuesday walk-up bar or grab quick bites and specialty drinks at the Lone Palm Airport outdoor tiki bar outside of Margaritaville.
